This is a painting that i believe is enigmatic. It tells an interesting tale produced up with unique tones of blue, with some yellow and brown to distinguish each individual issue. Dali, may perhaps have been motivated by Picasso’s Blue Period of time from 1901-1904, with the blues existing in his paintings.
The tale I interpret here is that of a lonely musician entertaining persons in a cafe. The musician is playing a cello, with his eyes closed, ignoring the audience, as he is swept absent with the rhythms of his tune. Not a treatment in the world. His expression is that of a gentleman concentrated with actively playing his instrument but also seeking sad or lonely. which is mirrored with the painting remaining in shades
